Today we celebrated Moon Festival. All of the students from AIS Primary were involved in fun and exciting events to celebrate this Vietnamese tradition. We started the day with a lantern parade. The children had an opportunity to share with their parents and friends the wonderful lanterns they have been busy making. Then we entered the auditorium to watch each year level perform a traditional dance and song. To end our festivities we were lucky enough to watch an incredible dragon dance performance from a group of very talented acrobats. All in all it was a fun and great day for everyone involved. Thanks to everyone for you help making it such a successful event. Check out some of our photos from the day.
Year 4 at AIS had a fantastic time visitng the Bitexco Tower on Friday. We had an opportutnity to look out over the whole city and watch transport in action. There were so many different types of transport it was hard to keep track. It was great making connections between what we could see and what we have been learning in class. Check out some of these photos from our trip.
